Hello fellow hopefuls!

I'm just seeking clarification on one of the requirements for the temporary policy under essential healthcare which is 1530 hours of qualified NOC work for at least 1 year. Do the hours have to come from one NOC job only or can it be staggered as long as all documented job titles are within the qualified NOC list?

I am the secondary applicant to my wife and her current standing is that she has roughly 1000 hours of NOC 4412 (Support worker) and 600 hours of NOC 3012 (Registered nurse)

We are hoping that this would make do as both jobs are eligible healthcare occupations and the total number of hours are well over the minimum requirement.

Kindly advise. Thanks!

You can combine both NOCs.
To calculate your hours of work experience

  • count the hours worked in part-time and full-time jobs
    • The hours must be in one or more eligible occupations.
    • The hours must be over a period of at least 12 months

Hi
I have a concern if I will be eligible to apply under the tr to pr pathway. In July 2020 I was a student but employed in healthcare. Toward the end of the year there was a public policy which enabled me to increase my hours. I completed my study in Feb 2021 and since April 2021 I have 2 jobs in healthcare and I meet 30hrs a week.
can I use my hours while I was a student to apply?
