Hi everyone,

Congratulations on your ITA's and submission of your PR applications. Please see my signature for our timelines. Wondering how long the wait will be for CoPR, as the AOR says under 6 months but I am hearing that it is closed to a year now?

Anyone have any updates on this, or is it pretty much just a waiting game?

Didn't you do upfront medical for this PR application?

No I didn't. I had a hard time booking for a medical schedule prior to submission due to lockdowns. I just uploaded a schedule confirmation for my medical appointment in my submission.

can you kindly confirm which way you booked upfront medical as I have requested email to canmedpk@iom.int they are asking IME number for all family members before they scheduled appointment.

They are currently in May batch , so till they get to August before you can receive biometric instructions

How you went through upfront medical I means you went directly to the hospital with invitation letter only ? which city in Pakistan you did ? can you kindly explain ?

No need for any letter, I called the designated hospital branch at Lahore and told them that I need upfront medical for PR. They didn't asked for any letter or anything. After upfront medical they provide you with information sheet that you have to upload with your application.

The medical you did is called UPFRONT medical. Where you submit e-medical report. You did it right.. cheers~

I requested the medical appointment before the application submission ( called upfront medical) , but they reply below:



Dear applicant,

Please share the IME numbers for all the four applicants, as this number is mandatory for us to have, before we offer you an appointment.
