I want to apply for my mother's tourist visa.
I hold COPR and want to take her along with us as I lost my father recently.
Can you please guide me whether should i apply through GC key or IRCC portal?

Eligibility: Sept 21
Refusal: Oct 09 (Will not come back due to money, employment, purpose).
Note: I had $18,000 for 1 month visit; I'm gov't employed; purpose was to write an exam in Quebec (asked by the Quebec gov't).


3rd Application: IRCC Portal
Submit: Oct 16
UCI/Biometric updated
Background Check...
CAS Doc: Oct 17 (showing Oct 16 on Doc)

I would say GC key. You are not PR so she doesn’t have family in Canada. She doesn’t meet current exemptions to reunite with family.

Apply on IRCC portal because it is convenient for you to log in and also it is more comprehensive than the old one

You aren't a PR yet. Not sure about the chances of approval. It should be through GCKey.

IRCC Portal also has Tourist Visa.

But I think it is only for people who have their family members in Canada. I am not.
