Hello everyone, checked my ecas on 18th September and was updated medical received. I called in to the automated service yesterday and one of the things the system said was "we are processing your background check". Please is this the RCMP check? Background check is all of it - RCMP for basic criminality, possibly Interpol (Espionage, terrorism) etc. Once you pass, your file will be assigned to a senior officer for sign-off and you will get COPR.

I'm assuming that once a decision has been made, it means that a senior officer has already signed off on the case. Is that correct?

That is correct. Soon you get an email saying your application has been approved and you need to confirm your address in Canada via the portal to be issued eCOpR.

Bear in mind that Phone status is unrelieable. Often Even months after decision has been made, it still keeps repeating "background checks". Keep monitoring your inbox - often IRCC emails land in weird folders like spam, promotions etc.

Did you talk to customer service agent or send gcms note it’s more then 8 anything like decision made if you guys got it under pathway I heard it takes about 12 months the second stage

I tried the customer service but no answers.
I was thinking about the GCMS but I’m wondering if I need to ask my lawyer or can I do it myself?!
