Hello everyone, I applied for H&C using a lawyer, I requested to see my whole application. And I was sent the documents but not the arguments. My concern is that the documents that was sent stated " We are writing to you on behalf of my name to her immigration matters, Mrs. my name would like to apply for PR under H&C. Within 120days we will provide a detailed submission together with additional documents. In support of her application, please find enclosed the following: all the forms and documents that I sent to the lawyer. My question is is this how the application works? Why does the lawyer has to wait for 120days? I am confused, please someone help. Thank you.

This is a bit confusing. You already applied but the note says "would like to apply"? So did you apply or not? Why are you asking IRCC for your submission - normally, applicant or lawyer keep a record of their application. Do you have doubts that your lawyer did not submit the package properly and would like to confirm what IRCC actually received?

Hello, I guess I'm not explanatory enough. A lawyer submitted an application on my behalf and I requested to see the application that was submitted by the lawyer and the cover letter of the application stated below " We are writing to you on behalf of my name to her immigration matters, Mrs. my name would like to apply for PR under H&C. Within 120days we will provide a detailed submission together with additional documents. Is this firm a law firm or immigration consultant? Check that first. Then yes, some representatives/counsels send in your supporting documents and application form to ircc first and send submissions later but you have to be on them because they might forget or delay. Then make sure by the time they are sending the submission/arguments , you have other new evidences/ supporting documents sent along with the supplementary submission. Best of luck
