Help!!Issues about the PR Card renew.

Hi ALL,

I submitted all of my family's PR card renew application in one mail package on June 8, 2021.

On Sept. 27, I checked the status in CIC website that my wife and my son's status is Complete and below list the details:

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 8, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 27, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on September 27, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on September 30, 2021.

The following tables will help you understand the status of your application.

But my status is still as Decision Made and below list the details:

Why it's different for us? Any thing wrong with my case?

Do you meet the residency requirement? Do you have a more complicated travel history than your family? Did you have fewer residency days in Canada than your family at the time you applied for the PR card renewal?

Seriously, just some patience. It's only a matter of days so far. Deep breath. Any difference of even a few weeks is nothing in IRCC terms.

Family recently landed and PR cards for four family members all have different issue dates, max difference ten days. All arrived at airport at same time, no other differences. (Yes, we got a bit nervous in between - needlessly)

That's impossible to say.

That will depend on a number of factors including how many residency days you had (the closer to 730, the higher the chances your application will take longer), how complex your travel history is, if your application will require second review, etc.

We do not know. Each adult PR renewal application is looked at individually. If your case is more complex, if you have more travels and may be if what you submitted may have some difference with the records they have access to, it may take longer. But we do not know how long.

Are you compliant with your residency obligations and how many days had you spent in Canada in the past 5 years when you applied?

Contact them if you don't have anything yet by early November. (6 weeks after decision made)
