It’s been a week since I gave my info on the portal and I’m still waiting for my eCOPR. Is it just a matter of waiting or is it better to try and call IRCC?

My status in the portal says i have passed my medical but i just recieved an email reminding me to do medical exams and pay PR fees. Does that mean my medical from 2019 has expired and i have to do medical again?

I know the medicals are usually valid for a year. And needs to be done annually.

Most likely yes. The portal information is notoriously unreliable.

that's what they are trying to tell you...They don't care about whether you did it in the past or not...you got to do it again....As far as they are concern, your money and cost are irrelevant! It is so sad!! how we see some insensitivities going on here against applicants

I received my Coor in September, 2021. I am going for marriage in Jan 2022. I want to sponsor my wife.
Is it possible to apply spouse pr application from India itself as a PR sponsorship or applicant(PR) has to be in Canada while sponsoring his/her spouse??? Can I apply visitor visa of my spouse from India or It should be initiated by me from. CANADA??

On September 17, my wife (PA) was laid off from her job (in Russia, we are outland). She started a new job this week.

Do we need to submit a webform explaining that she has changed her employment, or is it unnecessary?

Also, if we do submit this webform, will they ask for proof of this job? She hasn't told them that we are planning to move to Canada, and if we need to get something from the new job, it might cause some problems.

Hi all, unbelievable to see this amount of frustration everyone is going through for bringing their families and getting united with them and not able to do but wait is sad ,,,, my husband applied for me and application was received since Feb,2021 and my Meds are as passed since July does anyone think by Feb,2022 things will be all done?

What am seeing on their website they say theyre finalising applications received in Dec,2019... am i reading correctly here or am missing smthn ?! Are they ACTUALLY still working on the 2019 still ???

Why bothered with things which are not related to your case. If you are sponsoring her, professional activities are needless unless they ask for an update. If there is A change your life, you have to report it since it can have an impact on your file; unfortunately a change of work/employer do not have impacts on spousal files in process. You are free to report or not to report professional activities.

As a pr sponsor you must be in Canada when you apply and reside in Canada during the process.
