Sounds like a great plan.
First of all, I think that you should calculate your CRS scores thinking about how your situation will be in the next few years.
For example, let's say that in three years you will have completed your diploma and have one year of Canadian work experience. But, you will be older, you will have 34 years. So change that in the CRS tool. And see if your scores are more than 470+.
After that, you should also check the BC PNP requirements, I think that for tech people they only ask you to have a valid job offer, so you may be able to get a BC invitation.
Always have in mind that you have to improve your IELTS scores... If you are going to take the study path, you will have time, you should be improving your English skills while studying in Canada. You may even learn some French also.
