when we had our first pre covid PPR, it was also on the name and UCI of the PA but STEP 2 of that PPR contained the clause with the following ".... if you are the holder of passport(s) from countries whose citizens need a visa to travel to Canada, you will need to submit the passport for you and FOR EACH ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBER" You may have a similar clause in your PPR as well. By the way, which visa office issued you the PPR
Thanks!! Did you submit YOUR passport too? Since we are in Canada - that's quite difficult....And I already have COPR.

our rep told us then to first submit PA's passport and after he has got his COPR, submit that PPR along with PA's COPR for stamping dependents' passports

yeah, all of us submitted but since that covid mess started, all our passports returned unstamped and we were told by the IRCC call centre agent to wait for another PPR after its over.

Hi @legalfalcon I just received a "Ready for Visa" email (not in GCKey account) ask me to submit the passport to VAC. However I'm the PA in Canada, this letter should be for my dependent who is not in Canada, but only my name and UCI is on this letter. Is it possible to ask my dependent to submit the passport with this letter? Or I should inform IRCC to re-issue a letter? Thanks.
All correspondence is issued in the name of PA. If you are in Canada, and your address is on file, IRCC will send you a e-COPR and your landing will happen virtually, while your dependents outside Canada will have to submit their passports for a visa.

Thank you @legalfalcon My question is, whether my dependent can use this "Ready for visa" letter (their names are not shown on this letter) to submit their passport, or I have to raise a webform to tell IRCC that I as PA is in Canada and a different letter for dependent should be issued? Thanks.

All correspondence is issued in the name of PA only. No separate letters will be issued to your dependents as it is your application. If you receive a PPR, you can use it to submit your dependent's passports.

Thank you! To confirm, yes there is a description in STEP2 saying "If your passport is from a country whose citizens need a visa to travel to Canada, you will need to submit original passport(s) for you and each accompanying family member. " So this part is the same for your pre-pandemic PPR. For the VO sent this letter, it is not explicitly mentioned in the letter but it attached contact information for VAC in HK, Taiwan and Mongolia.

By the way how is your PPR right now? Have you been waiting for that since March 2020? Hope everything clears out soon!

all my stages were finalized since March 2021. I am not sure about others but I blame my bad luck for it. I see most of AOR applied after me getting eCOPR so it has to do with luck then with the application.. I am hopeless but I dont want to make u loose ur hope.. Cheers and good luck
I am in the same boat man. All stages passed since March 21 :|

I wish I knew where is our new PPR. I would jump into there, hold it tight and never let it go again. For some weird reason, ircc started again our security, sent me adrs (which were answered in the middle of this August) and since then ircc has been keeping silence. Remedicals got, submitted and passed in the end of July.
