PGWP expiry: November 26, 2021

I have a representative for my PR application.
I was going to apply for my bridging open work permit while waiting for the PR decision. My consultant stated that I can apply for the bridging open work permit online in the same MyCIC Account and can apply any day up to the date of expiry of my current permit. Once submitted, I’ll have implied status as a worker in Canada until I receive a decision on the bridging open work permit application.

As I was going through the application process, it mentioned on the website that I’ll get a letter(WP-EXT except PGWP) that proves that I can keep working. Need some advise. Thank you.

Okay I think I got a false GU today. I logged in and it said "Application/Profile Updated" but it had no change. At all. Then I remembered that there was a glitch in the system from yesterday. Most likely that.

I too observed same in case my today. I thought its no-email GU .

@guys with old medicals :

Any updates ? Also did any one in the above category applied for GCMS notes and received them? I wanted to understand the medicals extension logic, Is it processed at the same VO (or) sent to some other VO? My medicals passes initially, then expired and no updates again for ~25 days so far.

Small piece of information for you. Another person @intlala who most likely had old medicals got eCOPR. Can @intlala confirm this on this thread?

Also how old medical did you submit @intlala? Like from what year? It will be really helpful.

i got 2nd GU today but no change after that. aor 12th july. first gu was around a month ago. what is going on guys?

Same with me 1st GU about a month ago and 2nd one one. Today's GU can be ignored as everyone got that update due to some technical glitch.

Anyone who used old medical got an email portal between aor 1 july to 15 july?

Our good old pal @intlala had old medicals and he got COPR. He can confirm it. @intlala sorry for "sneaking behind your back". I am sort of tracking progress of folks like myself with old medical on their PR application.

Also @intlala, as I mentioned elsewhere, can you post your timeline for other folks to benefit from? And how old was your medical?

Applied for TR to PR in mid-2021

Applied for CEC PR on July 22 2021. Old Medical from 2018 SP (he used this TR to PR as well).
Got 1st MEP in mid Aug
Got eCOPR in Late September

Recent Update:
After yesterday's GU, my background status is changed as "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"

Tried calling IRCC Customer Support and got this message today from the automated system.

"Unable to find the application with the details given at this time"

Anyone can help me understand this message?
