The absolute funniest part of this is that the liberals just won the election and they were the only major party to have nothing about this program in their platform. If they didn't put it there when they wanted votes I guess they don't care about it enough to even attempt to change it. Guess its 4 more years of lottery
Really disappointed. If Canada can support 40,000 Afghan refugees, then why cant sponsor parents of taxpaying citizens? Thats so dumb of this govt. And above that, they are paying for living expenses of these people.

so just calculated and they sent 34,500 invitations. The interesting part is that if the second digit of your confirmation number was a number you were more likely to get it. They invited 21,602 people who had a number as the second digit but only 12,898 if your second digit was a number. For every single one of the confirmation numbers the ratio was 2nd digit a letter they invite around 800 but if the second digit was a number they invited around 1300. Some how that makes it highly unlikely that it is random. It's way too structured

Probably the system allotted more applications with second character as a Number that's why more people with this sequence were invited same as why Ontario always have the Lotto Max winner.
