If I apply for PGP 2021 sponsorship for my parents, will I then be able to apply for the spousal sponsorship? What would be the different requirements at that time? Will I have to meet higher minimum income requirement once I get married and apply for spousal sponsorship?

yes you can apply for spousal sponsorship. Yes you will need to qualify for one extra person once you get married.

Hey everyone, I just got the invitation for 2021. I had it all wrong in my head thinking that by the time we wanna submit the application we're reporting on 2019,2020 and 2021 tax years. For 2018 we moved to Canada(Landed as PR) around May and I started working July the same year. I have a tax return for 2018 but since it's only for a few months of income it doesn't meet the criteria. Does anyone have the same issue or know if they accept the explanation that it's only for a few months of that year and not the whole year? Thank you in advance.

You didn’t qualify when you submitted your application last year so it would be hard to see how you would be given special permission to apply when you didn’t qualify last year or this year. You haven’t met the 3 years of income or being in Canada while many others have met the income requirement for 3 years and have attempted to get selected 3+ years without being selected.

Actually when I submitted application last year our family size was 2018( me, wife, father and mother=4), 2019( same as in 2018 =4), in 2020 we had a baby so family size became 5. Now in 2021 we had another baby. will my family size for 2018,2019,2020 will be effected because of baby born in 2021 or it will remain same. Please help

Yes family size is now 7.

we have same situation. We are family size of 6 for 2018, 2019 and 2020. But I gave birth 2021.

My application # starts with 3E6 and I have received the invitation email from Mississauga office just now. I got lucky for the third time and I believed it is now or never - as the # of slots are more for 2021 and no fresh applications were taken for 2021.

I really wish every one else who tried multiple times (more than twice) and were unsuccessful get through this time. I know what it is like to go through this process.

Hello Everyone, I got the invitation today. I have expressed interest for my dad & mom. Unfortunately, my dad passed away last year. Can i use this invite to proceed only for my mom? Is there any forum on how to fill the form etc., Thank You
