Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2021

Hi, I received invitation yesterday under parent sponsorship program to apply for PR. I have question regarding getting police clearance certificate for my father. He is coming next week to Canada under supervisa. How can he obtain police clearance certificate?. Can he apply in Indian consulate, Toronto?. I am not sure how long will it take.

I have the same issue as you. I got invited but one parent is being stubborn and does not want to go ahead with the process. Its usually the dads! lol

Yes it does contain letters.

Starting with letter or number?? We only see invitations starting with numbers

Pay attention to the guide and best way to see what the question addresses to is to see who is supposed to fill in that form.
If that's a form for the sponsor, then all the question and information is directed to the sponsor.
Similar for forms for Principle Applicant...etc.

I know buddy. I am asking about sponsor form and not principal applicant one. My question was a specific one, Q8... its not available in the guide that's why asking..

yes all non-married children under 22 must be included.

Hi all,

I haven't received invitation yet but curious about two things:

1) I applied last year but during the application time, I was outside Canada for family visiting purpose but now I'm back and have always been working full time in Canada, just last year during the time I applied I was out of Canada working remotely, will that affect my submission?

2) Is there a way to check with my confirmation number if there is any update?

If only your mother wants to come, your father can be included as non-accompanying in the application. He will still need to take and pass the medical and also provide PCCs in order for your mother to be approved.
