So, how do I know why province should I study for.

Most likely based on where you live.

The general notion is that the test isn't province specific. I saw several reports on the forum about this topic and I personally did not see any province specific questions on my test.

There was at least one Ontario province related question on my test.

Oh okay, that's interesting. You took the test on June 7th.

Nobody else explicitly reported province-specific questions and there were some discussions to where no one reported anything like this.

So, I guess people have always been getting province specific questions on their test but may be it isn't as wide-spread. Not sure. But anyway, thanks for this input, it'll be useful when someone else wants to know about this.

I don't remember much from my test, but I think I had some Ontario-related question as well.

From what I see on the forum it's obvious that the people who applied earlier (some in 2019 early 2020) goth their oath scheduled for end of Oct, early November. Later applicants, who recently got DM have their oath scheduled in 6 months, allowing IRCC to look like that majority of applications being processed within 12 months period.

Both of the people I referenced in my post were Sep 2020 applicants!

Yeah, and I am also Sept 2020 applicant, my oath is scheduled for mid-October. I don't see any rule here, honestly. And I am very glad to be scheduled that early, of course but feel the pain of those who are scheduled in the next 4-6 months.

I am just about to take my test and for ID I was going to use my PR card.

The instructions say

A photo identification (ID) with your signature on it, such as
o your permanent resident (PR) card (even if it’s expired) or
o a valid government issued photo ID

However my PR card does not have a signature on it. It obviously has my name, UCI, photo etc. Has anyone noticed this?

PR card is EXPLICITLY mentioned as one of the accepted documents so go ahead with it. There are several applicants who have taken the test with PR card successfully from what I know.

Yes, I know it is mentioned as per my message, but the reference is incorrect as PR cards do not contain signatures. Thanks for confirming though. Here we go!

Congratulation, I got my invitation for test and I will do it tomorrow.
How was it? was it difficult, I did practice tests and I score high with them
