Citizenship oath completed today. Can you apply for 10 year passport for first time ?

Hi everyone. I finished the oath today 2 pm my time. I was wondering when I receive the citizenship certificate can I apply for 10 years passport? I heard from someone that your first passport you can only apply for 5 years. Can someone confirm this?

I don't think there is any issue any applying for 10 years passport; they only mention being Canadian in the requirements (doesn't matter if you are immigrant or born here)
