This confuses me too. Alright, Canadian offices are prioritising inland applicants. What about the foreign offices where there are no covid restrictions? What are they doing? Study permits? Tourist visas? Even if they allocate 20% resources to PRs, we must be seeing a lot more PPRs. So many questions, so little transparency.

Nothing they do makes any sense. They’ve kept everything on hold without any explanation or reasoning. The fact that local visa offices are also not issuing PRs is even more ridiculous.

The official CIC website as of 11:14 PM IST still states that the flights from India have been suspended till 21st sept. Maybe after the elections they will take the decision with respect to that, AirCanada on the other hand on their official website has given a statement stating that they will only accept RTPCR or RAT done from the lab at the third terminal at New Delhi airport. Again, nothing from the Canadian Govt or CBSA.
