Hey , if anyone know about this issue shed some light on it.
Actually i am fall 2021 intake student taking online classes from india
Now, i want to drop from sept intake because of network issues and some other medical conditions.
But my college will not provide me deferment as the deadline was 11 august that my agent missed.
So i need to reapply for january intake(seats are available)
I just want to confirm that will dropping and reapplying affect my fall 2021 visa and stamping(visa isn't stamped yet)??
Do i need to reapply again for visa for jan intake?
Or this visa will get stamped and work for january intake too??
Please reply ASAP, bcoz the drop deadline is today!!

The same permit and visa will still be valid for January, as long as it's the same DLI.
Hope you get better soon.

Visa isn't stamped yet..do they check that i dropped from classes for fall term??
Or just stamp my passport
You need to submit your new LOA and you should not submit your passport for stamping based on your September LOA since you have withdrawn.

Have your application been approved? If yes, then no - they won't check if you dropped classes or not as your application has been processed and closed.

But the time to submit passport is just 30 days..
Otherwise they refuse the application
Don't worry, send your passport for stamping as requested. Since your deferment is not more than 150 days, you don't need to send out a new LOA to IRCC.

You could ask your university to allow you a deferral instead of reapplication to Jan since your permit has been approved. What happens, in the event, that they deny you admission for Jan? The chances are low since they already admitted you once basis your credentials but if that be the case, they should be ok to defer with some monetary penalty.
Try and prevent any unnecessary complications

No, I already tried this.
And they denied to defer as the defer deadline has passed.
They told to reapply

Or there is one other option. That i can take online asynchronous classes , they will start in november and of 10 weeks instead of 15..but the problem is i don't know if I'm allowed to take asynchronous classes on study visa or not.
Anyone , who can confirm this?

I haven't got the deferment , my application for fall 2021 will be cancelled and i have to reapply for winter 2022 intake.
And my passport isn't picked up for stamping till now.
So my question is should I send the passport for stamping based on fall application or should i first update the embassy and then send my passport?..but then the time to send passport is just 30 days and I'll not get the new LOA in the meantime!!!
What should i do?
Will college update the embassy that i have been cancelled from fall term and then my passport will not get stamped?

Please please please reply,
I'm really confused and worried

if your application is being cancelled, then you are NOT deferring. You can still get your passport stamped and hope that you are readmitted into the same program for January intake (or worst case, a similar program at the same DLI). You don't have to update IRCC yet. And no, your school will not tell them about your 'deferment', as that is between them and yourself.

Problem will only arise if you do not get admission again in the same DLI. IF that should happen, you will need to re-apply for your SP all over again.

Okay, thank you!
And what if i get admission in may 2022 intake in same DLI?
Do I need to apply for SP again for that intake or I can just update the IRCC about it?
What will happen to the start date and end date of fall study visa?

And Sorry for a lot of questions!!
But again thank you so much for assisting me in this difficult situation.
