Dear Mia Donalds:
Thank you for your recent correspondence addressed to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, concerning the citizenship application process. I have been asked to respond.
Your comments regarding the application process and your suggestions for improving it are appreciated. Family reunification, reducing overall wait times and improving client service are key government priorities. Please be assured that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes every effort to manage the applications received in the most efficient and effective way.
With regard to your concerns in particular, IRCC’s
Client Feedback service allows clients to submit comments, compliments, and complaints about our services through a single, centralized portal. This includes observations or suggestions on how the department's services, performance, or processes could be improved.
Agents will review the comments and determine if further action is necessary. Should more specific information or a response be required, the client will be contacted by the Department.
Thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to the attention of the Minister.
Sincerely,
Y. Levesque
