Got test marked as completed this morning, now the long wait for oath I guess... rest of statuses are still IP

I am June 2020 applicant and received notification for test last Friday in new check application status system.However, no email yet received. If my test window is from September 16 will I get email on same day or few days before ?

I received GCMS notes for my wife. Her application submitted in June 2020. Security completed and BC is in progress. It's been 15 months, not sure what was wrong with her BC. It is same as mine, and everything was completed for me.

This is second time requested GCMS, and nothing different than previous one.

BC is IN progress. Any thoughts and suggestions would be helpful

In the gcms notes, check if Criminality is passed. If not it should say something like... CIT RCMP Screening with Fingerprints Required, in which case your wife will get FP request sooner or later. If criminality component is passed, then its stuck in Security. GCMS notes redacts the status on Security. The only way to see which one is holding up the background verification is Criminality. There is nothing much to do if Security is in process....That could take months or years to clear.

Thanks for response. Her Criminality is passed. Security is in progress. I do not understand as her travel history is same as mine. Not where it is CSIS, hopefully will clear it

There is nothing much to expect. Hopefully one day u wake up and see it as complete.

Security requires further investigation due to several other factors not just travel. The name, DOB or nationality etc, anything could have matched their threat list. It is unclear on what basis they do additional investigations.

another classic example of June 2020. My wife and mine both BG is in Progress since Dec 2020, the shitty part is in my and my wife's life we took only one aeroplane flight and that was to canada, had our PRs processed in less than 4 months, and BG is in Progress: I'm cursing myself why we applied in June 2020.
