Good day everyone, I logged into new citizenship portal today and saw that received a invite to give a test. A bit surprised that I didn't receive any email or I would have missed this info

Same happened to me, but I noticed it on Thursday. As far as I know they send the email 2 or 3 days before the beginning of the period to take the exam. My exam period starts on Sep 16th so I expect to get the email between today and Wednesday.

Dont worry about the email. Dont wait for it. Test link is open to all but can attend only during those days for a candidate.
So Just prepare for the exam. You can attend during that test period of 21 days.

Same here, finally some movement for may applicants. I haven’t received the invite but can see the update for test as of today.

Hello,
I just checked my application status and the language skills, prohibitions, and physical presence now show as "completed" as of Sept 9. So right now the dashboard shows everything completed except for citizenship ceremony "not started". Not sure where this information goes on the spreadsheet since this is from new dashboard.

I then checked on ECAS, and it shows "decision made"!

Hi! Good to know your file is being processed at Kitchener office and that you've had some movement. Try googling ATIP online request. The first link should be the one that'll take you through further steps in requesting your GCMS notes. I did mine under the Privacy Act so it was free of cost. It takes 31 days on average to receive it, once you have submitted your request (this was the case for me).

On that note, can you please share some details on your application? Are you single or family applicant? When did they start processing your application per the new tracker system? And does your background verification show complete on the tracker? If yes, since when?

I have the same status; except that we didn't have fingerprint requests and my application shows as filed Sept 23, 2020. I received my most recent GCMS file last Friday and as expected a massive disappointment as it still shows to be sitting in registry in the useless Hamilton office. Quite frustrating to say the least.

It looks like many files at this location is fast but somehow some files at kept in dark.
Did you submit webform on asking on it?

So it doesnt look like they will even let us use the webform, this was my response the same day. I remember when the Syrian refugees were being admitted, I was waiting to be invited and lost a year and a half in waiting because they were spending time on their paperwork. so this response along with covid, is just not a good sign.

Same nonsense reply to me and most as well for the webform requests.
I dont think we should be waiting for one year just because they want to process additional just 20k applicants and using that excuse. Will see how it goes for this year and if not i am going to go to the court. NOt seeing much option if this stupid excuse continues for more than this year end.
