No, we gave the exam yesterday online as this is the first time exam for us.

I was tracking the timeline after test but seems that windsor office has not reviewed the files after test complete (except only one). Its going to be another long wait.

So all May and June test completed ones are still waiting for DM/Interview?
I thought that we would move ahead after 2 months but some are even more than 3 months and no movement
Please update if someone received any update on their regular processing/file.

why they don't want to process the files fast, what do they check exactly.

they are now going ultra slow after afghan refugees issue came up, people are calling on collective action some are even wishing this government goes away so the new government can give a bit of hope for clearing the backlog.

Clearly these ppl should go! Any govt that cant take care of its own ppl just dont deserve to stay! Its not JT's job to solve world problems, when there are much bigger domestic problems <.> Looks like he doesn't care much about the debt and deficit problem.
The war was started by US and they are doing their part, y is Canada so excited to jump ahead of them in this issue, I can never understand this logic!

So i dont expect difference at cic if govt/party changes. This is pandemic effect on servicing immigrants(non-citizens). No one is ready to focus on non-citizens as you dont vote.

Similar department( - passport canada) was back on track to 30 day timeline for passport in Dec2020 itself because they serve citizens and its also under same govt. Its the people and the teams who work in the departments. There is no need for a minister to tell to do their job since all know how to do their job. People at cic are on leave hence no minister can clear the backlog.

I think the problem here is accountability. It seems IRCC as a whole is not accountable to any one, and employees within IRCC are not accountable. They enjoy too much power such that if they subjectively decide a file should be delayed, no one can know why or do anything. Also, I think government employees are extremely protected, so they are not afraid to be fired. Accountability brings performance improvements and efficiency.

May be online track would be different because we(2020 paper applicants) completed test just 2-3 months ago even though applied 1.5 years ago.
So we will have to wait and see if you would be getting DM or paper applicants would be getting. Cant predict as online and paper are moving differently.

Is your office is sydney or windsor for online applicants?

Yes thats probably Windsor. Glad to hear you finished your test. Online takes a different route I guess, From which office did you get the test invite, do you know? also, how do you know your application is in process 1 week after AOR. From what I have seen, online applicants are not able to access the ECAS system.

THen it wont be windsor location on processing your file.

If your from email id on the test invite is not "DN Cit WIN Scheduling" then its not windsor. WIN will be the letters you can find in the email id of the From address of the test invite(and also you can find the same email with WIN letters in the email id in eligibility section of the test invite pdf).

I am thinking that they are distributing the online applications across Canada. In one way its good because they can distribute it evenly(i hope).
