Hi, I have a question:

I just received an email, it’s from IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca, the subject is IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal – Application #

And then it has a pdf telling me my PR was approved and the next steps are to reply to the email with name, UCI, Email, Entry date, last time i entered Canada, location last entered, currently inside canada?, if no, return date.

the signature is like the poster above me, with (GCM user ID) etc.

There is no update in my file, but yesterday when I checked I'm pretty sure I saw something that said “update” or something like that instead of “submitted”, but there was nothing when i clicked to view my file.

Basically, I'm looking to know if this is legit lol.

AOR: May 25
Medical: June 17
Biometrics : Already passed for working holiday visa
The rest is still “we are processing” etc.

Yes, it is legit!

Don't worry. Just reply this email with these questions you can find from the PDF then you should receive another email with your temporary password to upload your address in Canada and PR photo.

I have uploaded my PR photo but in my IRCC account my file is still like nothing changed. It will change once they send us the eCOPR, normally within one week since PR photos uploaded.

Thank you so much. I just want to make sure, date of entry would be when I entered with my working holiday visa, or would I count, like, vacation I took in Canada in the previous years ? I moved here Nov 19, 2019, but I had been here before for 2-3 weeks

I am not sure about this question because the first time I entered Canada was as a student, not for vacation.

Hey, I was in the same situation like you.

I put both dates on my email but my ECORP had the date when I first entered Canada on vacation.

Thanks. I ended up putting one of the date and then I wrote down the 2 dates could be considered original date of entry.

Did anyone from May that already received COPR actually got their card on the mail? How long does it take?

Got my PR card today.
Portal email on Aug 24 and COPR on Aug 25

Reading through the attached pdf, there is a section that says:
"In your response, for yourself and for each member of your family, copy and
paste this template and fill in the information (check your passport for the dates
and location):
 Name:
 UCI:
 Email (as set out in this message):

 Date of last time you entered Canada:
 Location where you last entered:
"
Since they mention "family", I cant workout whether I should mention details for my parents. Any suggestions ladies and gentlemen?

I called IRCC on May 31st, 2021 and agent advised my application was in the final stage and security was the last step but it was not started.
I applied for GCMS notes Aug 2nd, 2021
Received response on Sep 8th, 2021
It shows security still not started.

Is there anyway I can get IRCC to start my security check? Literally everyone who have AOR with my timeline received copr.

I'm so worried these guys must have forgotten my application. What if its stuck like this for another year?

Yes, I checked and not letting me in. May be they are updating on application from back end.
