Anybody waiting for updates from the Vancouver office? Looks like my file was transferred from Ottawa to Vancouver. Background check completed I am waiting for test invite

I haven't ordered any notes yet. It's just that the fingerprint request came out of the Vancouver office
I still live the proximity of Ottawa so for sure it is not because I moved.

I am only guessing there could be two reasons. There were some new/ unexpected immigration workload added to Ottawa, they might have done some workload balancing.

My case is not straightforward I have 3 different spelling of my name on my birth certificate/passport/PR card/drivers license so I guess it just requires more digging what Ottawa has no time for. Having 'ö' in my name complicates things

I might give them a call later to see if I can get info over the phone

I have been checking the % of test invite for 2020 and it seems strange that Oct has the lowest rate of test invite amongst the 12 month of the year. Only 28%.
Even Nov (34%) and Dec (43%) have more %.

How representative these numbers, though? The sample number is very small to make a conclusion.

Got a couple of GCMS notes and nothing stands out.

I have a similar timeline and stuck with the same status for a while and several applicants after this app received date have already had their tests in June/July/August and some even had their oath ceremonies scheduled in Dec 2021 up to Feb 2022.

I am not sure what happened to cases between 16 Oct and 25Oct. Does the GCMS notes say anything that's out of the norm?

I requested ATIP but have not received any response yet.

Are there any PEI applicants in this thread? I have DM since July 27 so it's been about 6 weeks and no oath date. Starting to believe there are no virtual ceremonies for the island. My file is in the Charlottetown office based on the email my test invite was sent from. Thanks

Below is my timeline and I really wrote the citizenship on the last day. One day before deadline LOL.

Application Delivered : October 26, 2020
AOR Recivied: Jan 29, 2021
In-Progress date: March 15, 2021
Test email Scheduled: Aug 13 2021
Test Completed: Sep 1, 2021
Test Status Updated: Sep 02, 2021
Recent update on online tool (nothing changed): Sep 03, 2021

It will pick up. If only we had a way to check what these percentages were last month.

Look at November for instance; it has a pretty low invite rate similar to us. Also, December is unique because of the online pilot process.

Or maybe Im just being optimistic. Nonetheless, I believe we should see things pick up for October applicants by the end of this month and once we hit the 12 month mark.
