Hi, I wanted to know what's next or what signs does receiving a medical Request mean?

Student/Co-Op Visa:

- Online Application completed with Biometrics: May 5th

- Medical Request Jun 27th & Completed Jun 28th

- Status: Waiting. . . .

- Country: Dominican Republic

I think it’s positive sign.. good luck..!! When did you get the request? And is your medical passed? My medical is passed on 20th may but it’s expired on July 5th and they haven’t asked for submitting new test..

Ah cool, I don't know if it's already passed because Im using a lawyer but I guess the medical is passed, Im healthy and it's almost 2 weeks now that I've already made them.

I Hope so, its been 2 weeks now since the medical exam and no responses, wow I'm very anxious

It all depends on the officer handling your case but rest assured you have a 90% chance of getting the visa cause they don’t send medical request to applicants who haven’t passed the eligibility review stage… so unless something comes up on medical or criminality/background check (which is very unlikely) you should expect PPR soon. Good luck!

its been more than a month that I have received my medical request, and the Singapore VO told me they're reviewing secondary clearances. is this the criminality/background checks and how long does it usually take?

If you have received medical request you have nothing to worry about unless you are criminal or have submitted fake documents on your application…. As for how long it takes to get the final decision depends on the number of applications they are processing and the officer thats handling your case.

How did your process ended up?

I needed to ask you if you have an acquaintance from DR whose biometric is completed by the first week of may 2022 and if this person have received the Medical request?
