Hey everyone! My hubby got his passport and COPR today Passport was sent July 15. FYI the VAC never updated us about the passport being received or it being shipped via DHL. The courier called him today and dropped off the passport. Glad the journey is done and I hope and pray for a fast response for everyone else !!!

Hi I’m new on here! We applied April 6 2020..we are still awaiting a decision. Is there’s anyone else on here that submitted theirs around the same time or even March 2020? And have you heard anything as yet? this is depressing

The struggles and frustration is so much. We just
going through the motions until they decide its time. We got decision made in July. Still awaiting ppr. I know persons still waiting for their passport to return, so maybe after those return they might request a few more.

I called cic 6 times today, im just that frustrated right now! All six reps were consistent… they can’t say when the file will be completed. But the file is being worked on. Yes, they can all see that I’m a January 2020 applicant and that I received pre-arrival in June. ‘HOWEVER, while the file is not missing any documentation the security check is not started!’ And due to the pandemic there is no timeline for when the security check will commence.
I’m honestly trying not to loose my mind.

We in the same batch pre-arrivals June nothing since, probably my security check not even started as yet as well smh, this really sucks.

I got pre arrival on April 1st and still waiting on ppr as well.

I’m dm July too waiting on ppr. The logic is so messed with IRCC. A friend got dm same day as me and for ppr a week later.

Thanks! Nope they never updated. The last update we received was two weeks ago saying it was dispatched from IRCC to the VAC. But we never got an update that the VAC actually received it and sent it via DHL.

What phone number do you call them on? I've never gotten them when I tried calling
