My family and I did do both of them 5 years ago. Hopefully they won't ask for them again.

I was taking a look to the below data and I think nobody received Pre-Arrival letter (LSAA) and after that medical request. Everybody had medical request first. Is it possible to skip it? I have never done medical exam in the past

I have seen a lot of cases in the Facebook group who received pre arrival before medical.
How much time after pre arrival letter? An approximation.
I am a little worried with the Afghanistan situation.
I am pretty sure that process will take a hit with Afghan matter
I am also sure that only Quebec applicants will be affected by the new refugee crisis.
They use every possible excuse to the full extent.
3+ years of waiting in federal processing (after getting CSQ) is like a gold medal in shame.
It is a new level of inefficacy and failure for a government.
I wish you could get it sooner.. 3 years is a lot of time....

In order to respond to a high volume of enquiries related to the crisis in Afghanistan, we have needed to shift resources in our Client Support Centre. This will impact our ability to respond to some of your enquiries.
We will respond to these priority enquiries only:
· Clients in crisis situations (like those affected by the situation in Afghanistan)
· Clients facing vulnerable circumstances (emergency and urgent requests)
· Clients who need to tell us about a change in their circumstances, which has a direct impact on their application (like marriage, birth of a child, or similar)
· Clients who are submitting documents requested by one of our officers
· Changes in contact information
· Requests to withdraw an application or refunds
If your enquiry is NOT one of the priority enquiries listed above, you will not receive a reply.
If you included attachments with your enquiry, rest assured that they will be added to your file shortly.
Most of them were like around 3 weeks. Let’s hope for the best.
Finally just received AOR. Linked the application showing 50% processing.
Yes I applied alone. Looks like you already got the Pre-arrive letter, I guess you will have Medical Examination shortly. BTW, have you got the Biometric request?
