Hello everyone, Feb 2018 applicant here @ Kitchener.

- BG completed as of Sept 2019
- Test Passed and completed in May 2021
- Interview Scheduled for Sept 2021 as of today.
- Everything else: In progress
- Oath: Not started

No email received yet.

Just wondering what would they be asking in the interview?

pretty straightforward. They will see the original documents of the photocopies that you submitted with your application like your original PR card, drivers license, Passports etc. They might ask where you live and work etc. That is it.Mine lasted for less than 5 minutes. Very next day everything except oath got updated to complete.Exact one month after interview I got oath invite

Thank you for this update. Are you from Kitchener/Waterloo location? Just confirming because it might end up confusing the readers in case this timeline is for a different location.

Yes my application is through the Kitchener office.

Most probably not. I don’t think our office has ever been that fast.

No no, you were right. I just wanted to confirm because I've read so many comments on facebook where people reply to posts from various locations and the answers are irrelevant. Thanks for confirming you're from Kitchener office though.

No that's true man! I saw many posts today on Facebook saying they were invited for tests who applied in Jan/Feb/Mar 2021. !! Don't know their locations though.
It's depressing to follow this.

Physical presence Aug 5, 2021 Completed
Prohibitions Aug 5, 2021 Completed

Waiting for the Oath, cause I am over 55, don't need a test or language skills...

My mom is 55, BG, prohibitions, physical presence completed as of July 23rd. We still haven't received anything. Old ecase says Davion made but new one only provides the details regarding steps and completion.

Wouldn't you get interview?

No it's not a KW citizenship group. It's just a citizenship test invite group and when people post there, they identify what location they're testing from.

Hey guys, I passed my citizenship test on August 1st Now I am waiting for rest.

My PR card is expiring in November. I plan to travel over holidays in December, and I need PR or Citizenship to come back to Canada.

I don't know how long it will take for them to process my application.

I want to apply for a new PR card ( lead time 119 days)

What is happening if I apply for a new card, then get called for citizenship before I receive a new card. I know you are supposed to destroy old card. So I apply now, they call me next month for oath, I get citizenship and in two months I get new a PR card in mail?

I can't relay on them to get a oath call within 3 month from citizenship test, I saw many people waiting for a long time.

I got fed up with the waiting game so I am just going ahead and apply for my PR card renewal. I plan to travel sometimes in December or January. I have not gotten any new update on my application yet. Not even a test invite and I am a 2020 November applicant! Kitchener location is just too depressing. All the best to you though and everyone else waiting for this nightmare to end.
