As my category is RC-1 should I apply for renewal of PR Card immediately after arriving Canada or should I wait for 2 years RO because I only stayed 3 months in Canada.Your university is wanting to see a valid / current document.

Take a look at my previous posts .How much time it took to grant PRTD , I’m which country you applied . I have applied for my son it’s been three months . So far no update .
As far as know one of my friends daughter went similar way paid international fees first year. Later once GOTZ pr changed to domestic
I applied from India via online email, It took 6 months for me to receive PPR ( Passport Request ) and after that it took around 1 month to have my PRTD stamp on my passport in my hands.
I suggest you to send the reminder email to IRCC.

I have applied In Abu Dhabi , passport is submitted along with application . Hope it comes soon . My son will start online classes from next weekTake a look at my previous posts .

What’s the update , did you join university, did you travel ? My son got PRTD stamped single entry valid for six months . His accommodation arranged at campus residence ? I asked my university to reconsider and they changed my status to Domestic Student. I will arrive Canada on 25th September 2021. I have asked few people on CanadaVisa and they said that I can apply for my PR-Card renewal as soon as I arrive Canada as I have RC-1 Category counterfoil Permanent Resident Visa.

My girlfriend travelled to her home country (Russia). She had to travel due to some family emergency. She doesn't have a PR Card. As I understand she must need a PR Card or a PRTD in order to re-enter Canada.
We are trying to get some help how to apply but are very confused. We really need help in order to start the process for PRTD.
Can anyone please explain how to apply, where to send documents for PRTD. She in Russia from the past 7 days.

Please fill form IMM5529 along with all supporting documents to IRCC whichever is near to your country or within your country . I applied for my son he got it in 3 months. Your wife might early if she has stayed in Canada /obligatory days . Best of luckHello Forum Members,
