I think there is a wrong entry against my name.. I have just received In Progress ECAS- 17th Aug no test invitation yet(hopefully this week)… the entry says I have received test invite on 25th Aug.. can you please update

The dates given to me is between Sep 3 and 23. So I believe I need to wait. Meanwhile does the email contain any important information or is it just a general information?

It has an attachment addressed to the applicant, but all general information.

However, after you login and enter your application numbers on the testing portal, it immediately sends you another email with a link which is the actual test. So, if you didn't receive the first invitation email, I think you won't be receiving the actual test link as well on that email.

Have you received any other communications at all from CIC after you submitted your application? I am thinking there may be a typo in your email address in their system.

It will be best to contact them asap and have this sorted out this week.

Anyone has an idea on how long it takes from the test completion to citizenship ceremony ?

From their website:

In most cases, the ceremony takes place within three months after you pass the test.

However, due to COVID, I don't think these may be strictly getting followed at the moment.

Came across Something strange... me and my wife applied online on the same day.. all processes completed on the same days as mine including BG .... but her tracker shows Invitation for test(no email yet) and mine doesnt ... lol

Yes I did receive my AOR through email. I think I will be let to login only from Sep 3. I will wait and see.

Hey guys, I just checked the status tracker website and it says "You have been scheduled to take the citizenship test online. Read the invitation you will receive carefully". And the status was updated on Aug 26. But I havent received any email form IRCC or CIC. is this normal and does it take time to receive email? Can someone please help

Do you mean the citizenship test? Why will it cost anything? You already paid the application fee.

Yeah, thanks for confirming, I wasn't sure whether the cost was included or separate.

For now nothing as her status was just updated today... planning to raise a webform if we still dont get any email in couple of days... Can we not just use application# and UCI# to start the test ? or are there any other instructions to follow ? Does the invitation include date and time for the test ? Someone who has already received an email invitation can confirm this ...

After entering application# and UCI# and verifying all the information the system will send another email with the actual link to start the test. If you did not receive the first test invitation, there is a chance you won't receive the test link as well. Best to sort it out by contacting them first.
