I contacted IRCC to ask about my application via Webform, and this is what I got:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

In order to respond to a high volume of enquiries related to the crisis in Afghanistan, we have needed to shift resources in our Client Support Centre. This will impact our ability to respond to some of your enquiries.

We will respond to these priority enquiries only:

· Clients in crisis situations (like those affected by the situation in Afghanistan)
· Clients facing vulnerable circumstances (emergency and urgent requests)
· Clients who need to tell us about a change in their circumstances, which has a direct impact on their application (like marriage, birth of a child, or similar)
· Clients who are submitting documents requested by one of our officers
· Changes in contact information
· Requests to withdraw an application or refunds

If your enquiry is NOT one of the priority enquiries listed above, you will not receive a reply.

I got the same revert on Saturday, I requested for citizenship test status and also sent them passport copies (which they mentioned earlier they never received it.

Hope you receive your oath notification soon. Based on how its going, looks like they are setting oath dates anywhere between November 2021 to February 2022 for applicants who got Decision Made in July/August 2021.

I noticed in the Spreadsheet tracker that you have applied as a Family of Seven! So did you apply for your parents/in-laws/grandparents too or it is just you, your wife and the kids?

The reason I am asking is that in case you applied for your parents too, I'd appreciate if you could guide us on the PR/Citizenship process/timelines for parents/grand-parents.

I really doubt @rajkamalmohanram would ever swear.. he has always been helpful and i am sure he will answer your question but in some post on some other thread he had replied that his application did not have kids.

So like I mentioned earlier, I had a request from local office on July 15th to submit the passport copies. I did email them but after 20 day it wasn't reflecting in my file so I raised a webform twice and and did sent out an email as well to attach them to my file .. I got a response yesterday (as weekend surprise ) as below. I guess it is going to further delay my application process.

how do you know it is not reflected on your file ? I was requested to submit passport scan but it never showed on tracker , however i submitted the scan same day so not sure if it made difference

I called up IRCC agents and they referred to my file and confirmed that it is not reflecting.

Does anyone know how often they update the system? I had fingerprints done by RCMP on Aug 13th and the status checker still says "waiting on you". I'm hoping they have received them but just not updated the system yet.

I sent requested scanned passport coopies for my two family members on July 15th (requested on July 12th) by email - Mississauaga office and havent received any confirmation nor any update on tracker as of today. I called them last week but the agent said he is unable to check it as they are only answering queries regarding Afghanistan.

I am not sure what to do...any clue @rajkamalmohanram ?

There is no acknowledgement for passport pages. There is no way to know unless you see the GCMS notes or from the agents at the call center. So, I guess you'll have to wait a while. When you see "Decision Made" status on ECAS and when "Physical Presence" is set to "Completed" on the new dashboard, you can assume everything is in order.
