Hi Good ppl,

I am preparing for citizenship test. I received email from below for test.
IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

My address is Scarborough Toronto, So should i prepare for Ontario based exam?
I am asking this because at first my address was from Saskatchewan then I moved to Toronto and update my address to Toronto one.

Please advise.
No questions based on province. So just prepare your discover book and then do multiple online mockup exams and you should be fine.

Thanks Hari.
So I should prepare based on Ontario right?
Are you talking about some online exam links which tells you to select province before starting the test?
Select any province. It wont matter.
Some online sites give you province specific questions but during your actual exam you wont see those province specific questions. So you can choose any province and give mockup exam for preparation.

Tests are not based upon the province you live in. It is going to be a general test which you can prepare for from the Discover Canada book. I would also highly suggest doing practice tests before you take the exam.

There are usually no province based questions.

Discover Canada is the main resource. Read the entire book at least once.

In addition to that, prepare using the following:

Notes from Discover Canada and Sample tests.

Hi Admin- Received oath invitation this morning for September 01.

Members- I have a small hick up here. Hoping to get any insight. I am moving on September 01 ( OAth day). The oath is not scheduled until 1 PM CTS. I wont have my regular internet connection set up by then. I was thinking of completing the oath via my mobile phone using the cellular data. Has anyone had experience completing the oath via their smart phone. Thanks in advance.
Hey man, same time and date! Are you Ottawa office as well?
Yes, you can do it on your phone, read the instructions on portable devices on the invite letter. Good luck.

For anyone who wants to email CIC about your application. Please see the following.

In order to respond to a high volume of enquiries related to the crisis in Afghanistan, we have needed to shift resources in our Client Support Centre. This will impact our ability to respond to some of your enquiries.
We will respond to these priority enquiries only:
· Clients in crisis situations (like those affected by the situation in Afghanistan)
· Clients facing vulnerable circumstances (emergency and urgent requests)
· Clients who need to tell us about a change in their circumstances, which has a direct impact on their application (like marriage, birth of a child, or similar)
· Clients who are submitting documents requested by one of our officers
· Changes in contact information
· Requests to withdraw an application or refunds
If your enquiry is NOT one of the priority enquiries listed above, you will not receive a reply.
If you included attachments with your enquiry, rest assured that they will be added to your file shortly.
Does this apply a delay in receiving of citizenship certificates for those who have already completed oath ceremony?

The contents of the oath ceremony letter is in the post below =>

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/contents-of-the-oath-ceremony-letter-received-via-email-and-discussion.741117/

This is for Mississauga office. The required documents, IMO, will pretty much remain the same.

PR card, ID, COPR are the documents required.
