At this point I believe only conservatives can revive skilled immigration.Tough weeks ahead for the Liberals.

Conservatives gain as O'Toole's momentum grows, Nanos survey suggests
The Liberals and Conservatives are now running in a statistical dead heat, as Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole continues to gain momentum as a candidate among initially hesitant Canadians, according to nightly tracking conducted by Nanos Research for CTV News and the Globe and Mail.
Yeah, he has one. Climate change is really what he should be leaning into - that is the only thing that will pull youth vote back from the NDP to prevent a Conservative govt.I'm guessing JT doesn't have any more bullets left to fire. I don't know if I'm missing anything but I think he's used all the covid jokes (it's been a failure anyway). He's trying the afghan thing, we'll see how much that works. Does he have any other big arguments left? There's still enough time; 4 full weeks. Let's see what he'll come up with.
Probably still focusing on mandatory vaccination planI'm guessing JT doesn't have any more bullets left to fire. Does JT have an edge over the other parties in the climate change debate? Does the conservative party not propose anything related to it? What does the NDP say about climate change? JT can't be the only one talking about climate change, is he?Yeah, he has one. Again, Trudeau, I am at your command!
This too. This and climate change.Probably still focusing on mandatory vaccination plan
Liberals and NDP are very close on climate change. NDP are not very serious people so they may not have a real plan lol. Liberals have moved pretty far left on climate over the last few years.Does JT have an edge over the other parties in the climate change debate? I see. Well I think it'd be interesting to see youth caring more about climate change and mandatory vaccination than being able to purchase (or even rent if you're in Vancouver lol) a house in their own country. Looks like it'll be about how many votes JT can pull from the NDP. To me, those arguments show a clear cut between the libs and the cons so I guess there wouldn't be many votes going back and forth between these two.Liberals and NDP are very close on climate change. Conservatives are much worse on climate. They support the oil industry in Alberta and in Newfoundland. It is a huge difference.
Yeah. This. Trudeau's numbers are also higher now than in 2019 with old people because they are happy with how he handled covid and vaccines. Otherwise he would be in deep trouble right now. But yeah he really needs to get 1-2% back from the NDP.Looks like it'll be about how many votes JT can pull from the NDP
I understand and partly agree with the concerns about cons winning and how it might affect immigration but I still don't want JT to win. I want him to stay at about the same number of seats, still a minority, which would probably be enough to contain his ambition. That, so he can't at least touch the immigration law. I don't trust the liberal party with my immigration chances after how Marco Mendicino said FSW was discriminatory.Yeah. This. I always thought liberals liked the Express Entry the way it is. I have mixed feelings now. I don’t think Conservatives would touch EE in its current form and they would leave it. I do not want to speculate but to be fair I am feeling some sort of woozy about all that.I understand and partly agree with the concerns about cons winning and how it might affect immigration but I still don't want JT to win. I think we have a decent idea what the liberals would do with EE. They are going to keep pushing immigration and worst case would change to an NOC specific FSW. I really don't know what conservatives would do with it and honestly I don't think they know either. There is probably more risk to EE with conservatives.I always thought liberals liked the Express Entry the way it is. I have mixed feelings now.
