I know, but I mean the two months that I was in Canada waiting for the PR card, before the definite move. The calculator counted them, but I wonder if IRCC might count them off.

Any day that you are present inside the country (even for a minute) in the 5 years preceding the day you sign your application will count towards physical presence. The days will be 1.0 after you became PR (landing with COPR) and 0.5 days with any other statuses prior to landing. It doesn't matter when or whether you receive your PR card. PR card is only a travel document and doesn't determine your period of stay.

I think they count as once we land we get CoPR right. So i should count. I counted from the moment I landed here and not when i got my PR card.

I was wondering if there might be a problem with my physical presence. I landed in 2017 and stayed for two months to get my PR card, then went back to my country to finish up things at work and arrange everything for the actual move in 2018. Do you think they might count those days off the physical presence calculator?

I have added your information to the spreadsheet!!! If you were physically present in Canada during those months in 2017 and the calculator counted them as they are within your eligibility period, it should be ok.

I think they count as once we land we get CoPR right. So i should count. I counted from the moment I landed here and not when i got my PR card.

Yes the name speaks by itself, physical presence, all days you were in Canada as PR are full days, counting the day when you landed. Even if you were on a work / study / temporary visitor permit they count half a day.

I have one question. I applied citizenship app on march 2021 n my passport was going to expire on sept so I renewed should I submit new passport copy or not? Is new passport require i mean after sept will they they ask for it? N processing could be slower?

Received my AOR today at 7:29AM. Please update the tracker. My fiancé did not receive her AOR yet despite filing her application only 2 minutes after I sent mine. Will update if she gets it later on today.

Hi all. I applied online March 8th 2021. Still no AoR and I see in the spreadsheet that folk who applied late March have their AoR. And I haven’t received any updates that my application is incomplete. So is this inconsistency expected?

My suggestion is to submit the scan copy of the new passport (send all the pages(including the blank pages and bio pages) of the new passport) you have received via the webform: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.

looks like my status has been updated in GCMS to true in the last 24 hours but haven't received AOR email which is fine, i may receive the mail soon or it may take a while from upload to sending out. Either way ill be able to check in tracker in a couple of days with our without the AOR mail. - March 15th Online Applicant
