PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I managed to contact an agent at the call centre as my address was entered incorrectly in ECAS and they confirmed that my PR Card was mailed out to the correct address and that it just had not been updated on my end, so I would suggest calling them to alleviate some stress for yourself.

My timeline:

Application Received: April 6
AOR: July 22
DM: July 22
Card mailed: August 12
Card received: August 17

Thanks for sharing and this is useful. At least I know that it will take about a month from AOR, DM to getting the card! I got AOR on Aug 09 and guess I still have to wait for a bit before I get mine! They received mine on April 16, 2021.

Update: Card mailed August 13, 2021

Hopefully it will be sent to my address... I have yet to see any update on my ecas about address change. Dunno why they put my home country address when I filled out the form here.

But seriously, wow, you managed to get through to a human?! I've tried to call multiple times, but they say they are "unable to answer calls" and then the call drops.

It seems like your processing time took more than the frequent same day AOR and DM. If you don't mind me asking, did you have anything unusual about your application that may have slowed it down? How long after DM did you receive your card? Thanks!

There can be 2 possibilities AFAIK. One is they haven’t got to your file yet, and the other is they have rejected your urgent processing and is now in queue with the regular processing (seen this happened to many on this forum). You can try to contact IRCC to see if they have anything to share.

Hi, I submitted the web form and today received the information that my urgent PR card renewal application is accepted and card is mailed on 16 August. Although, I did not receive the AOR, my online status shows the status complete. I hope, I will get the PR card soon.

My Application was delivered on April 19
No AOR yet

I was able to get through IRCC call Center and then informed that they do not have my file in their system yet.

Few days back I raised web form as well but they asked for more details and nothing after that.

I am going to try web form one more time to see if I have any luck. Also, looking at the thread, it seems mine AOR should be around the corner.

I received AOR today on Aug 18.

“This confirms that your application for your Permanent Resident card has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2021/04/19.”

Here is my complete timeline for PR RENEWAL - NS, Sydney office

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on April 9, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 5, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on August 5, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on August 17, 2021.

Waiting for the card.

Hi guys - do we have a spreadsheet for following PR cards? We sent the photos in February 2021 (upon receiving COPR letters), and haven't received PR cards until now. When we inquire through the web portal, we are told that the cards are still under processing. I understand COVID-related delays, just want to know if others are in the same boat, esepcially that the processing time for initial PR cards is indicated 44 days (as of Aug 10, 2021).

Same here, waiting since March 2021. They just say application in progress. No Aor nothing yet.
