Open work permit Under Public Policy Timelines

maybe not for me this message, but anyway I do not have any news. (Applied on 1st July for date reference).
They have not answer me from the IRCC webform, had not have any update not even the generic email with the month extension
I was thinking maybe the extension was not automatic since I had my passport expired on the day of my work permit. Let's say they need to figure that out.
Now the timing on the "renewal or extension of work permits" time of approval got longer (from 59 to 65 days)... although every person here got in in less that 2 months.
I will update here when they update me

When did you send webform?
Was the 10th of August. Meaning today, is the 5th "working day" with no answer so far.
I sent a question being innocent like: I know this is a special type of permit so I am not sure if they have the same timeline than other work permits. Also I heard a lot of applicants got an instant email with a temporary extension... is there anything wrong in my file? haha
I guess every case is different, I just don't want to get it rejected because if not I need to do the whole LMIA thing, and I don't really see the human resources of McGill wanting to...
These days they take 7-14 days to respond to a webform, so you can expect a response anytime soon.
Ya, I feel like we are overthinking this too much. I say this as I get anxiety attacks lolllll.
