I received back my application. I have few questions.
1. The letter says, error in the Representative form IMM5476, what does it means? I filled the form and I not appointed any Representative.
2. Do we have to pay the fees again.?
3. The package is returned in pdf, do we have to resubmit the whole package again or just the correction.?

1. I didn't appoint a representative and never submitted the form. You can ignore if you'd like and can be added at any point of the processing.
2. I assume you can use the same fee receipt.
3. You have to submit the entire package (only applicable documents) by incorporating those comments.

So, just to clarify.

If I do not submit the IMM5476, as we do not have a Representative, the file will be considered complete.?

Yes, I never submitted/appointed a representative for Spousal application. But I added later at the stage (I added my name as representative) because they can't give answers when I inquire status of PA. But it's up to you whether to include or not. The file will be considered completed if you don't submit. But make sure not to tick on document checklist.

You filled in the form for a representative but you don't have and don't need a representative ? And yes, the application would be considered complete. Just resubmit it.

I submitted for the same reason but the reason of returning the form reads " Your application package is being returned to you because it has been identified that you may be using a representative and/or have not properly completed the required Use of Representative (IMM 5476) form. " although, I filled it and signed as well.
So, better I do not include it now.

In IMM 5476E for appointing a representative, complete sections A, C and D. Section A: PA Details, Section B: Representative details, Section D: PA & Spouse's signature

Yes, family or friends can be appointed as representative.

1. When did you send your application to Sydney?
2. Was it returned by mail (standard paper) or by email?
