I have DM on ecas but CIC account still shows Background check. I got portal invite already and submitted photos and address. It's clearly mentioned when you get the portal invite that your application is being finalized. Dunno what the hell is going on.

It's nothing. They will update your cic account. If ecas shows DM that's mean everything is complete. No worries.

what really is bothering me, I confirmed my address and uploaded photos to the portal almost two months ago.

You are not the only one. You can't do anything at this point but wait. My ecas shows DM since 21 of july,i have been waiting for portal invite since then. This is my 27th month.

Je crois que ma demande était trop rapide peut-être que c'est pour cela qu'ils perdent un peu de temps. Car le 28 juillet ça faisait exactement 1 an que j'ai soumis ma demande de résidence permanente.

la même chose arrive à ma demande. Ma date de DM est le 14 juillet 2021. mon Dm était dans les 11 mois. J'ai soumis une candidature en août 2020. En attente d'une invitation au portail.
