I guess it really doesnt matter how long you have been together or how much "proof" of your relationship you have. Covid has really f****d it all up for all of us. Its really a shame. Hoping you get good news soon.
If you are in Canada, tell IRCc by updating your address. If you get the decision made and PPR, they will "land" you by computer and you will not have to leave.
Okay I will do that! They have only communicated to my husband in Jamaica by email.

Wait to be clear - he should only update his address to in Canada when he is actually in Canada. That's what I was confused about, who is who and where.

Well KVO seems to be on vacation again because it's about 4 weeks since they've received our passport and not even approved on Gckey as yet. Haven't seen any updates from those who did send in theirs around the same time. It's like you reach what's supposed to be the end and boom... Wait again

Wow it took that long to get to Kingston. Ours was at the embassy since July 14th. Sent it off the next morning after PPR. yet no update. I don't know why they do it like this. Most VO's stamp it same day and just send it back. KVO is beyond lackadaisical at this point.
