I was asking about another city within Canada because it is a family application, can one member be away and taking oath from somewhere else?

Ah, anywhere within Canada is fine.

Applicants taking oath can join the video conference separately if they are not in the same room. Just make sure your partner has all the required documentation that is listed in the oath invite email.

Guys, something unbelievable just happened!

I just got a call from Mississauga IRCC office a few minutes back and I was told they approved my application based on my urgent processing request and I am being scheduled for oath on August 23rd. She said I'll receive an email in 2 business days!

Update :

So, looks like IRCC employees are hard at work after business hours. I got the call at 8:25 PM which isn't standard business hours. Looks like IRCC is trying to speed up and move applications to decrease backlog.

Two IDs are required during oath. One is driving license, Can i use Passport as Second one? For children will be the passport and School record, Am i right?

I believe so. The list of documents that can be used as ID will (hopefully) be available in the oath invite letter.

I forgot earlier in Apr but yesterday i submitted 2 webforms(as if they are going to send me oath email after asking ) asking statuses on 2 applications but didnt get email. So possibly we would get the response when(ever) they send/respond.

Secondly, my test shown completed after the test but background and all other are shown still in progress? Can some one guide me if its normal? I mean even background is still "in progress".

I've added you to the spreadsheet.

Prohibitions is one last check before they make a decision on your application AFAIK. So, it is like a last minute quick-check to see you are still free of any criminal charges or if you are still not prohibited to be granted citizenship.

There isn't a standard timeline anymore. It is all over the place. To avoid disappointment, expect it'll take between 3 and 5 months for you to become a Canadian Citizen after the test results are validated . Might happen much sooner.
