Not sure if others are noticing it too but until a few days ago this forum had been unnecessarily protective of IRCC and the minister, but now everybody is finally realizing and openly stating how incompetent they actually are. I think that's because people have started to realize travel restrictions and the entire covid talk was a bad excuse.
Aint it the truth though ? The whole world has started working, all the businesses, the govt offices, etc. Maybe Covid has adverse dire effects on your body if you work for IRCC

Sooner or later people had to realise the elephant in the room,i guess it boils down to us that we believe in lies in deceit when we are well aware of the stew of excuses being served to us in a golden platter!

It definitely is the truth but some poor people got bashed here for stating it all way back, months ago. I guess some people just saw it much sooner. But no matter, the public must raise their voice if we hope for a change.

Covid cannot be an excuse for anything no matter what funny "variant" emerges with the stupid names they are given. It's been 2 years, now there are vaccines, no more excuses. The "new normal" is dead and gone, we must go back to the normal NOW.

IRCC staffs that went on leave aren't back at the office yet. Below is confirmation.

https://ibb.co/1n4nG6g

The letter stated that 40 out of the 61 offices are delivering critical services only. I guess the backlogs aren't critical just yet; till it reaches 2m applications at least
PPR's for students and expired COPR holders seems to be in full swing in India though.

I imagine Visa Officers must be some of the highest paid people on the planet. Yet they just don’t want to return back to work and are just milking the covid excuse for as long as they can. Highly unprofessional
Is this only the situation in VOs located in India or it’s the same throughout the IRCC network?
Since travel restrictions are easing, people are expecting to see rapid renewal of expired COPRs, PPR for finalized cases and the initiation of processing for cases which were idled for many months. But nothing is happening. This is not good. Nothing we can do about it. Sad

I don't understand a few things here. What are "Production Orders" and "Leave Granted Orders"? What is an "electronic Certified Tribunal Record"? Why does this affect the processing of FSW applications since they are fully electronic?

Situation here has vastly improved, so hopefully things will start getting back to normal soon.

It says in the letter about 66% of the overseas offices are in the same situation, so it doesn't seem like an India-specific problem. But yes, things are not looking good. However I don't understand what's stopping them from processing fully electronic FSW applications? Is it politics or just sheer incompetence? Only Marco knows all the answers.

Its incompetence of dear Marco... He will be in hot water when media will tweet about the number aged and unskilled people got PR taking the advantage of Covid-19 and would highlight the number games played by the Minister...

Iv noted the letter is dated 15 June. I mean thats quiete a while back now...itll be 2 months old by the end of the coming week. Hopefully the working situation has improved significantly since then. I guess its some information for us to work with but its funny/annoying how these memos (just like the suspension of FSW processing one) somehow creep up only many weeks or months later to further depress folk who are just starting to be optimistic for good news. This sucks lmao

You have nothing to say because there is nothing to argue against. You have the right to have your application processed, that's about it. There is no mandatory time by which they have to process anything, so stop legislating things which are nonexistent. You wait until they're done, that's it.

Just tone down your entitled way of thinking, you're criticising how things are done here and you've not contributed anything to this country yet.
Here we go again.. Let people vent out man, why are you always on every FSW related thread with the same boring stuff.
