TRV from India

Hai,
I came to India in November 2020 while I was working in Canada on an open work permit, But my visa got expires and I submitted my TRV application in Jan 2021. My work permit is still valid and also I have valid medical and biometrics. It's been more than 6 months since I didn't receive my passport request.I submitted the webform already but there is no response.If you have any information regarding this it will be helpful.

I did the same...but till now there is no updates.

I am on a similar boat as you. I came back to India in Decemeber 2020 while I was on my study permit and applied for PGWP in the same month. Have been waiting ever since but my PGWP application and visa hasn't been processed yet.

Did you apply while u were in canada or dd u apply for trv after reaching india?

9 months for TRV approval? Vaoow.. Thats a lot. Was that person exempt from Travel restrictions? meaning holding work permit or study permit?

Hello everyone, I also applied TRV in Jan 2021 after getting my pgwp approved. I applied from Canada but by mistake I put my current country as India and that is the reason I am still waiting... it's been nearly 8 months now.. I need to travel to India in coming days.. I am so worried should I leave the country or not...

Did you raise web forms or sent emails or order GCMS notes to enquire about the delay? Do you know if you application is pending at Canada office or India office?

I raised couple of webforms.. and their reply was generic. They asked me to also notify Delhi office since the case is pending there. So I raised another webform, from Indian webform portal.. it's been more than a month now I havenot got any reply from them.
