Request letter from Citizenship

I have received request letter from Citizenship about scanned copies or photos of all passport(s) and travel document(s) pages held during your eligibility period are required.I have passport before I become permanent resident, do I need to sent my old passport?
When I become a permanent resident I had the new one passport,

Any passport that was valid during 5 years before you applied needs to be submitted.

Quick question: can we take pictures of 2 pages at the same time? Or does it have to be a picture of each passport page?

If you just mean two pages because the open passport shows two pages, yes, you can.

Any update on the request and status of the application? I got the same request while my friend did not. I hope this won't make the application take longer.
