Yes, that's how I read it. Good luck.I don't have to do anything and just need to wait for the lottery if I've submitted in 2020, right?
same here i dont know if they would keep this number 30K applications still the number for 2022Can't lie, I'm super gutted that that they aren't taking on any new expressions of interest for 2021. Count me in for 2022. </3
IMO they will not be in the pool since they were selected and then rejected / refused.I am wondering if those who were ineligible to be a sponsor under PGP 2020/21 and were invited but unable to apply and/or got rejected (not sure if there were any rejections), will still be in the pool for random draw? In principle, they should not be in the pool, yet I am wondering about this.
Hoping for the same and figure crossed for this. To some extent I trust the government but time to time they do not live up to my trust, and most of the time with something that is silly stuff which could have been avoided easily.IMO they will not be in the pool since they were selected and then rejected / refused.
To me it seems that only individuals who did not receive an invitation last year are eligible this year.
I think it was 150K but I am not 100% sure. Maybe that was for the previous year (in which case 2020 would have been higher).Any idea how many "intent to be sponsored" application were submitted in 2020? Tried google, but no info about it.
why did you submit an interest form knowing that you don't qualify? and you just wasted a quotaSo I was invited in the 2020 program, but I was unable to apply because I didnt have the min income for 2018. So I didnt bother submitting an application. Based on what I have read above, do I qualify to be considered again or will the lottery be only for people who werent invited?
I didnt know it. I miscalculated the income requirement as I didnt include myself.why did you submit an interest form knowing that you don't qualify? and you just wasted a quota
Based on the limited information we have available, it appears you will not be included in the 2021 draw since you received an invitation last year to apply. It appears the draw will only be for those who weren't invited last year. But that's not for certain. So you'll have to wait and see.So I was invited in the 2020 program, but I was unable to apply because I didnt have the min income for 2018. So I didnt bother submitting an application.
