The clinic my wife did her medicals submitted the wrong IME. We just realized the mistake recently almost two months after she completed her medicals. Even though we submitted a Web form I wanted to ask you guys if this is a major issue and if it is delaying the process?

Status updated to "Decision Made" this week.

May I know the approximate time it would take for my wife to get her passport request letter?

I really hope if someone can help me.
I am permanent resident of Canada and i applied for spousal sponsorship outside Canada which was refused back in 2020. Then, appeal was approved in Spetember 2020. IRCC requested us to submit new application and it was submitted on December 2020. After that there is no update on my online account. Tried calling them multiple times but they don't answer the call. Did anyone recently received any update or passport request for thjs type of case?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I don't actually think it means anything. I don't even have a request for a medical yet..I searched the forum, there are more people like us here, that get the pre-arrival letter out of turn. I suppose it just means they are working on the application and nothing else.

I have a question about PR extension, I am applying PR extension as I am about to complete 2 years in canada (My PR is going to expire in few months) , My question is - My spouse has not completed more that 30 days in canada and his PR is also expiring with me, We understand he may not qualify for PR extension as he did not completed the obligatory 2 years stay (out of 5 years) but since I am spouse what can I do to extend his PR along with me ? is it possible ? is there any other way for him to get Canadian PR. Please help !!

Your spouse needs to meet the residency obligation on their own in order to renew their PR card. You cannot include your spouse in your renewal.

Is your spouse inside of Canada or outside of Canada?

Congratulation! There is no specific timeline for getting PPR. It could be as tomorrow and as late as the Visa officer wants. Just be hopeful, as you are on the last step.

I think calling and raising web form are the only options. Can I know why your application was refused?
