Thanks for the info. I am a little new to the process, I thought getting an ITA was the big deal, after which you apply and then get the visa after some processing time. What exactly do you mean when you say your application is stuck? is there a filter after ITA (other than procedural requirements like proof of funds, medical etc)? that is a bummer

I thought so too but getting visa after ITA is no walk in the park either...they can reject your application after ITA too...there are several members on here who have been waiting for more than 6 months...my application has been under review for 4 1/2 months with no progress.

I am 42 and got ITA. You will need something additional to boost your points - Canadian Education/French Stream/Siblings etc.

Yes, a college will certainly admit you. To get the study permit approved, you want to make sure you write a strong SOP and that your planned studies in Canada makes sense based on your past education and work experience.
