Yes it did. But I don't remember exactly when it did while I was waiting. It took nearly four (4) months for my application to be approved .

No I received the biometric validity letter the same minute I received my Passport Request. It was 3 months after I had completed and passed my medical exams.

Ircc sent me a medical request after my application. The application was submitted on 12th December 2020 and I had a medical request on January 13th 2021. My medicals was then updated on the 10th of February 2021. Since then am yet to get a notification about my application for fall 2021.
