You dont need PR card if you are crossing by personal/rental car. Your passport + COPR is enough.
You need PR card only to board bus, plane etc(the commercial vehicles).

Their website says the below, so why do we have reason to believe October 2019 applicants will be processed anytime soon? It seems like it is more than 5 months away and it takes CIC multiple weeks to clear the applications for that week....I dont think I am going to get my citizenship well into 2022 based on these timelines.....thoughts anyone?

Before this update, applications between 12-18 May 2019 were being finalized for more than 2 months!! So, every 6 days applications need two months finalizing. I have given up the idea getting the citizenship this year.

I've updated the spreadsheet. Given that you are a 2019 applicant, it might happen shortly. Those statuses will be set to "Completed" when "Decision Made" status is updated on ECAS.

Please correct the information on the tracker. I have only received the FP request once.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
When I log in to CIC it says that I have received the INTERVIEW INVITATION... and i apparently already got 2 of them.

It says:
Follow the instructions that will be sent to you for information on:

• how to attend the interview
• what documents you have to present

BUT I NEVER GOT ANYTHING IN THE EMAIL/MAIL / JUNK MAIL./ Nowhere... HOW DO I ATTEND the Interview? It says its scheduled for July 19th, 2021

I would contact them and explain this. I read more than once about similar events with other applicants. Why do have two? Did you miss the first one?

I had this before... I called IRCC and they said I don't have any interview scheduled... so you better call to find out. Good luck

Received test invite: May 26, 2021
Took the exam and passed: June 17, 2021
Citizenship exam status updated (completed) : Jul 4, 2021
Langauge skills, physical presence, background verification, and prohibitions statuses updated (completed): Jul 8,2021

5 down, 1 more to go.. just waiting for oath invite..

I just checked my application status on ECAS tonight and I saw there that it's already "Decision Made" but when I clicked it, it doesn't show any date when it has changed. The only dates shown were when they received my application, AOR and when my status changed to "in process".. only 3 dates shown there or are these the only dates shown in your ECAS too? On the new tracker it's "in progress" and it says updated on July 9

July 8th will be the DM date AFAIK. I've updated the spreadsheet. If it is something different, please let me know.

Mine doesn't show any date for decision made but it shows with ECAS it's decision made already but when I click it it only shows 3 dates and no date for the DM..

That's okay, it happens. Generally, the DM date is the same date when "Prohibitions" is set to "Completed".

Hi everyone, I have a situation and need some advise. I applied for citizenship on Oct 24, 2019 ,my test was done in March 2021 and had 2nd FP request in May 2021. My background check was marked as complete on July 7. My PR card expired in Nov 2020(was hoping that I wouldn't have to renew it and will get citizenship before it expires but then covid hit us all). Now my company wants me to travel to US in September for work but I will not have a valid PR card when I return. Should I apply for PR card renewal or request IRCC to prioritize my citizenship application?

I don’t think they would prioritize your citizenship because of a work travel. Renewing your PR card makes way more sense.
Remember you would have to have the oath, receive the citizenship document, then request a passport. It may even take longer than the new PR card.
