2017 feels like another lifetime! Hope Canada has been treating you well, @SamoinpGood luck. Remember you being active in PR forums back in 2017s.
Yeah for sure, soon from PR tracker to Citizenship tracker . In hindsight, timing for applicants from back then worked well with the Pandemic.2017 feels like another lifetime! Hope Canada has been treating you well, @Samoinp
Yeah, I guess we were lucky. I feel for those awaiting their PR in the midst of a global pandemic - I can't even imagine the stress they must be under at the moment. Hopefully, their Canadian dreams will also come true sooner or later.Yeah for sure, soon from PR tracker to Citizenship tracker . Hi @Wandering Mind ! I also remember you from the 2017 days. Nice to see a familiar name in the citizenship forum I'm also really glad I was able to settle in Canada before the pandemic. I know a number of people who moved during the pandemic with quarantine and all and it was tough. And they are luckier than the people who are still applying or whose COPRs expired.Yeah, I guess we were lucky. This 1 day mismatch is a known issue and it's fine. You only have to make sure that the end date in the calculator and the application are the day before you sign the application.Make sure the application form and the calculator printout have the same application date.
Does it mean: If on the calculator( Online) if I show today`s date then on Main application form cit0002 must have today`s date as a signed ?
Second, on my physical online calculator, it shows the eligibility period 2016-07-17 To 2021-07-16 ( Mentioned I am signing an application today 2021-07-17).
But when filling out Form -cit0002-e : Number 9 : I will provide a signed copy of the online physical presence calculator ( Checked) then under
9-A : Enter To date from the calculator: 2021-07-16 then it populates from the date as = 2016-07-16 ( Not 2016-07-17 as it shows on the online presence calculator). I am not able to edit From date as it gets calculated based on To date.
So this is the mismatch of 1 day. Is this acceptable ? Has this happened to everyone ?
