CongratulationsHI all,
I received eCOPR today and am waiting for my PR card.
Does anyone know whether my mother can visit me now? Assuming that she meets all other requirements (vaccination, negative test etc), is the eCoPR enough?
Many thanks.
She‘d have to wait until you receive your PR card. To apply for the travel restriction exemption, the COPR will not suffice as a supporting document. The application process for that exemption itself could also take weeks to months to get approved, hence if you really want to see your mum soon, I‘d suggest you fly out to see her once you have the PR card in hand. Another option is to leave now and apply for a PRTD once you‘re back home.HI all,

HeyMore follow up on this... Today I went to Service Canada to get a permanent SIN number. They rejected my eCoPR because it has no officer signature on it and I don't know if this is supposed to be without a signature or the officer forgot to sign it? Lucky for me they do accept my COPR letter, which looks a lot less "offical" and of course doesn't have any signature on it. So my question is for those of yall who received the eCOPR, does yours have officer's signature and date on it? Should I contact them because mine isn't signed?

I think if you go to the second page of the eCoPR, you will find a signature.Hey
I am also not having signature on ecOpr
Can you please tell how did you get it signed.
Please advise
Thanks
Really? My eCoPR has two pages. One page is the immigration copy and the other page is my copy. There is only 1 page
Yaa, it has only 1 copy(client copy) immigration copy is not in the portalReally? My eCoPR has two pages. One page is the immigration copy and the other page is my copy.
Are you sure?
Oh, my mistake! I was under the impression that it’d be the same procedure as that of extended family members (e.g., romantic partners). Thanks for the quick response.
Looking at canada.ca, it shows that my mum can come without having to apply for a written authorization:
"You do not need a written authorization from us confirming that you’re exempt from the travel restrictions."
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and visitors to Canada: Uniting with family members - Canada.ca
It just states that I have to be a permanent resident and she has to prove that I am a permanent resident. I wonder whether my eCoPR is enough.
How long are PR cards taking to come?
My wife’s ecopr was also not signed and service canada refused to give SIN to her. Sent emails, webforms and called IRCC several times nothing worked. I contacted my MP and we received new signed ecopr in portal in couple of days but officer signed IRCC copy.Hey
I am also not having signature on ecOpr
Can you please tell how did you get it signed.
