Have following doubts

1. What would be the response of "Type of Name" and "Last Name" under Names for an adopted child ?
Note: Child has valid birth certificate and legal documents. Last name(which is mandatory field) is not known and not mentioned in the legal document.

2. What would be the response of "Other family members" under Family section for an adopted child ?
Note: Child has valid birth certificate and legal papers. No family information is available before adoption in any legal documents.

3. In the year 2016 I stayed in Canada as a worker in rented house. I don't have any address proof and receipts of rent.
For first 3-4 months I was using prepaid mobile connection. I have mobile bill for remaining months.
Do I need to proof my stay during this period as an address history ?

Called IRCC today and they said their reviewing my eligibility.

Does anyone know how long that takes and what's the next step?

I don't how people are getting through to the agent(s) when they call IRCC. I called them 10 times today between 8 AM and 9AM today and everytime it is the same message - "We are unable to connect...."

@Sam_12 and other seniors: Please advise with helpful tips on how to connect by phone with IRCC.

It has been already 34 days since I received my Background update turning into In progress, how long it usually takes to get an update again in Background check to turn back into Processing, anyone any idea?

Hi Guys, got my portal today and here is my timeline:

ITA Apr 29th
AOR May 16th
Requested additional docs Jun 10th
Medical passed Jun 14th,
No updates or GU after, eligibility and background still showing processing, received first portal email Jul 13th, replied same day. Received portal to update address and photo on Jul 14th.

I want to say I was checking my application 5 times a day just waiting for a GU or anything to be changed, it looks like they may not update anything on your application and just send you the portal email anytime. So guys keep up the positivity! There could be a surprise for you anytime!

I have two questions and need your inputs.

1. what is the difference between eligibility recommended passed and Passed?

I have not paid RPRF, in GCMS Notes agent clearly stated RPRF has been requested. However so far I have not got any notification. Any reason?

Meanwhile I have gone ahead and paid RPRF and sent the receipt through webform, will call IRCC and confirm if it was updated on my file

2. My Medical is expired, will it go through evaluation even if A11.2 is appears Met? How long this evaluation process take?

I would say the common thing of quickly approved applications is that they don't have GUs. Probably their files were processed at one or two centers only without transferring between VOs.

Submitted requested doc on July 9th - Review of additional documents started appearing as not applicable immediately.

2nd GU - July 13
First portal email and then link to portal - July 14 . Submitted address and photo, waiting for eCOPR
